SunnySide Family Fest Haruplate

Amazing time at Haruplate Sunnyside Family Fest

… and an introduction to a whole new way of choosing the food our kids eat

Producing delicious chunky savoury sauces, fruity jams, and ice cream, HARUPLATE is dedicated to providing “All Natural, Dietitian-Approved Creations” that are ethically sourced and manufactured. In late October, Haruplate sponsored SunnySide Family Fest!

Pumped up by the prospect of treats and fun, Mx C (my 5yo toddler) and I went and, after an afternoon of fun, food, and friendship, we declared it a BLAST!

A great fun-filled way to introduce ourselves to Haruplate products, the Sunny-Side Funfest had the “Main Bundle” (We just had to have it!) including:

  • Cloversoft Unbleached Bamboo Organic Antibacterial Wipes
  • Cloversoft Mosquito and Garden Insects Repellent Patch
  • HarriAnns Kueh Platter
  • HaruPlate Mini-Baos
  • HaruPlate Fundaes
  • Hegen Breastmilk Storage Container (150ml)
  • Nature’s Wonders Fruit & Nuts Fusion
  • Olsen Bakehouse Banana Cake (Vegan)
  • Olsen Bakehouse Chocolate Chip Cookies (Vegan)
  • Olsen Bakehouse Cold Brew Coffee (White Oat Milk, Vegan)
  • Olsen Bakehouse Cold Chocolate (Vegan)
  • Toppingskids Tutti Frutti I Am Apple Juice
  • Toppingskids Tutti Frutti I Am Pear + Bellflower Juice

Although he liked most of the treats in the bundle, Mx C was especially fond of the Choco Nana Fundae – all-natural and sugar-free. Got that? SUGAR-FREE! It’s a brave new world and one that a mom can really love. Most kids don’t need sugar, they are already sweet enough (haha). Me? I liked the vegan banana cake with an Olsen Bakehouse Cold Brew Coffee.

Had we not been to the Sunny-Side Funfest, we may not have had the chance to sample these innovative products. Now that we have, I’m thinking many will become staples in our house. I love the thought of treats without guilt; WITH all-natural ingredients, but WITHOUT the nasty chemical thingies that you see in the fine print list of common ingredients in many if not all sweet traits aimed at kids. You might think of Haruplate as a gateway to healthier food choices or as the beginning of more thoughtful dietary regimens right smack-dab in your own kitchen.

Mx C and I hope there will be more Sunnyside Family Fests. We’ll be there to try more nouveau foods and meet the friends we made at the first fest. Good food, good times, and good friends – that’s the recipe for us!

We look forward to 2023 event!
