Farrer Horse Revamps Its Menu in Commemoration of Their First Anniversary Milestone

The Equestrian-Themed Restaurant Bar is Launching New Dishes, Cocktails, and Live Entertainment as Part of Their Revamp.

Farrer Horse, the distinguished equestrian-themed restaurant bar, is thrilled to unveil an extraordinary menu transformation, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of flavours found trackside, in celebration of its first anniversary. The establishment, which was launched on September 2, 2022, pays homage to the historical significance of Farrer Park Racecourse. Singapore’s first horse-racing venue in the 1840s, by providing a unique and unforgettable dining experience. With a first-floor Dining Room and a bar on the second-floor, uniquely named Stable. Farrer Horse offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that blends history, elegance, and modernity.

The Distinctive Ambiance

Situated across two meticulously designed floors, Farrer Horse offers a captivating
journey through time and taste. On the ground floor, the enchanting Dining Room welcomes guests with its refined setting. While the second floor, aptly named Stable, transforms into a charming bar that evokes the spirit of the racecourse’s heyday.

Culinary Delights Await

Diners will be treated to a symphony of flavours that span from delightful starters
to sumptuous mains and innovative cocktails. Begin your gastronomic adventure
on the first floor in the Dining Room, where the new menu boasts an array of tantalizing appetizers. Dive into the Shrimp Cocktail, crafted from sustainably sourced jumbo shrimps, elegantly served with a signature zesty cocktail sauce. Or savour the Chukka Tenders, a tantalising dish of crispy, succulent chicken tenders, marinated in an exotic blend of spices and accompanied by our exclusive Chukka sauce.

The Dining Room also offers a dazzling selection of new mains, including the palate-pleasing Fish Tacos, a coastal-inspired delight featuring grilled flaky fish fillets topped with fresh slaw and a zingy mango citrus crema. Not to be missed is the Trackside Burger, a masterpiece made from scratch, featuring a 100% homemade beef patty and a specially crafted trackside sauce.

Stable, a Bar Beyond Compare:

The second-floor Stable, known for its lively and convivial atmosphere, will not
disappoint. In addition to a fresh lineup of cocktails inspired by racing destinations worldwide, Stable’s bar menu introduces an enticing array of racecourse-inspired bites and meals. Feast on the Racing Chickens, a dish that takes the lead with farm-fresh chicken, marinated in a flavourful medley of herbs and spices. Alternatively, try the Jockey Steak Sandwiches, a symphony of premium grilled steak and delectable sourdough bread.

Cocktails That Transport You:

To complement this culinary journey, Farrer Horse is delighted to introduce a range of new and globally-inspired cocktails and drinks.

Longfellow, a fizzy and lightly spiced gin cocktail draws inspiration from Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England. And pays tribute to Lester Keith Piggott, one of the greatest flat racing jockeys of all time, and a style icon in his own right.

Connoisseurs of boozy cocktails can immerse themselves in the spirit-forward cocktail, Habibi, Come to Dubai. Inspired by the Meydan Racecourse in the United Arab Emirates, this cocktail is a tribute to the city’s rich coffee and tea culture, infused with honey, spices and banana essence for a unique flavour.

Locally inspired by Singapore Turf Club, The Good Ol’ Days harks back to the historical roots of Farrer Park Field. And the transformation of the area known today as ‘Little India’ or ‘Tekka,’ rich in cultural heritage.

In addition to these thrilling culinary innovations, Farrer Horse will continue to delight patrons with cherished favourites such as the bestselling Lamb Lollipops, a mouth-watering lamb dish marinated for 24 hours and served with a tangy lemon herb sauce; the Chicken Chettinad Pizza, a culinary masterpiece created on homemade wheat dough, topped with tender chicken cubes, an assortment of melted cheeses, and fresh vegetables; and the Surf & Turf Pie Tee, an appetizing starter featuring Pie Tee shells brimming with smoked duck, chopped shrimps, coleslaw, rojak sauce, and mayonnaise.

Farrer Horse is set to officially launch its new menu on October 13, 2023. Alongside
the mouth-watering culinary additions, customers can also anticipate a fresh restaurant decor that enhances the unique equestrian ambiance. Furthermore,
live entertainment from Rush Hour 2, a local evergreen acoustic band, will add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
