Share your silver linings in a video monologue!

The success of the recent production of The Coronalogues – Silver Linings, where 9 writers and actors got together to perform their silver linings during this Covid 19 period, prompted SRT to encourage more people to come forward and share their silver linings.

It seems like everywhere one tunes in to, news are often gloomy and depressing. More so during this strange period. However, if one looks hard enough or not think about the negative aspect, there are silver linings that are shining through those clouds. And we want to hear those silver linings from every day people in a monologue video. A chance of people to shine in their own productions!

All participants need to do is write and perform their own monologues and submit their videos to SRT. For more information and submission details, kindly visit our webpage https://www.srt.com.sg/your-silver-lining). Video submissions are open from Monday 29 June to Monday 13 July 2020.

A panel of judges will review the entries and make their shortlist of entries. The shortlisted entries are then open to the public to vote for the winning monologue. There are two categories: Youth (below 20 YO) and Open. A winner will be selected from each category where they will win $500 cash prize, kindly donated by one of SRT’s well-wishers.
