Measuring 16.5 feet in diameter with a flying height of 56.5 feet, the equivalent to of five storeys, iFly is Singapore is the world’s largest themed vertical wind tunnel.
Each flight will take about 2.5 hours, including briefing, training, gearing up, and the actual flight. And do check in at least 1.5 hours before your flight. Like if you book your flight at 12pm (all schedules can be found on the online booking page on their site), do arrive at 10.30am or slightly earlier.
This is a great simulation experience, perfect for someone who would like to try something adventurous without daring the real thing, or at least for a start. All their instructors are certified by the International Bodyflight Association, and iFly periodically organizes training camps and arrange for coaching by world champions to constantly upkeep and improve the standards of the instructors, so you can be assured of a safe flight, and that you are being taught in the best way for efficient learning.
