On 27 September 2015, thousands of females will be getting active together across the world from Australia, United States, Europe, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore for the annual Active Nation Day event, which started out in Australia. Active Nation Day is an event that allows women to make the commitment to living actively and authentically towards a fit future. Created by Lorna Jane Clarkson, a well -known fitness personality in Australia, active living is all about getting more out of life by giving more of yourself everyday through the process of Move Nourish Believe.
This year, one of the events in Sydney hopes to win a Guinness Book of World Records Title as the largest fitness event with Lorna Jane Clarkson in attendance.
For Singapore, there will be two fun classes on the afternoon of 27 September 2015 at Canvas at Riverwalk from 2-6pm. The classes include a 45 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class with local fitness personalities Kelly Latimer and Jasmine Danker and a glow in the dark workout rave with Farah Fakar, a well- known Zumba dance instructor.
In addition there will be a Move Nourish Believe marketplace with local vendors such as Frank Skincare, Gryphon Teas, Young Living essential oils, healthy snacks like bliss balls, cold-pressed juices and so on. The classes are ticketed at $28 per person (with 1 free drink) and the marketplace is open to the public.
The first 100 people to register will also receive a goody bag worth around $100 with items from Belif Singapore, a limited edition Lorna Jane bracelet, Lorna Jane tank (worth $59.90) , Lorna Jane vouchers from retail store Fit and Fab, Guavapass, Gryphon Teas, Frank Skincare and many more partners.
