The spooky season is back, and there is plenty of magic brewing in Singapore’s North and East. Causeway Point and Century Square welcome the return of Halloween Scaretacular, their annual celebration filled with family adventures, sweet surprises and festive rewards. This year, the malls are giving the festivities a glowing twist, with Glow-in-the-Dark Escape Rooms, potion-making workshops and adorable character night lights joining a line-up of returning favourites.

Beyond the glowing adventures, young explorers can follow guided trick-or-treat trails to collect sweet treats, while special highlights give each destination its own festive charm. Families can look forward to encounters with Causeway Point’s signature Dino mascot in Halloween finery at the mall, while little ones can showcase their imaginative costumes at Century Square’s annual Halloween best-dressed contest.

Beginning on 25 September 2026, the celebrations continue until 1 November at Causeway Point and 12 November at Century Square. With activities unfolding across different weeks, visitors can pick their favourite experiences and plan a Scaretacular outing around the calendar.

Step Into a Glowing World of Mystery

Gather the family or round up a few friends for Ready, Set, Escape!, a Glow-in-the-Dark Escape Room that puts a colourful twist on this year’s festivities. Taking centre stage at each mall’s Level 1 Atrium, the experience offers an opportunity to share an adventure in a setting that glows with seasonal mystery.

The escape room will be available at Causeway Point from 19 to 25 October, operating from 12pm to 9pm daily, and at Century Square from 26 October to 1 November. The Century Square operating hours will be 12pm to 9pm on 26 to 30 October and 1 November, and 6pm to 9pm on 31 October.

Shoppers can redeem a pass with a minimum total spend of S$50 at participating FRx stores within the same mall. The spend must be made across a maximum of two same-day transactions, with at least S$20 spent per transaction. Qualifying spending begins on 25 September. Alternatively, passes can be purchased for S$8 each at Causeway Point’s Customer Service, Level 2, or Century Square’s Concierge, Level 3.

For an extra treat, the first 50 participants daily at Causeway Point from 19 to 22 October will receive a complimentary goodie bag.

Little Footsteps, Sweet Discoveries

A favourite part of the spooky season returns with the guided Trick-or-Treat Trail. Young explorers can visit participating stores and collect goodies along the way, turning a stroll through the mall into a treat-filled adventure.

The trails take place on 17 and 18 October at Causeway Point and 24 and 25 October at Century Square, with sessions at 2pm and 5pm.

Participation requires a minimum spend of S$20 in a single transaction at participating FRx stores and advance registration. Each session is limited to 20 participants, with up to two sign-ups per FRx member.

At Causeway Point, qualifying purchases must be made from 25 September to 16 October, with pre-registration at Customer Service, Level 2. At Century Square, shoppers must pre-register at the Concierge, Level 3 before 24 October.

A Little Potion, a Lot of Imagination

Budding witches and wizards can get creative at Magic in the Making, a potion-making workshop that brings a playful touch of wizardry to a family day out.

Workshops take place from 10am to 12pm at the Level 1 Atrium, on 24 and 25 October at Causeway Point and 31 October and 1 November at Century Square. Note that the complimentary workshop is on a first-come, first-served basis, and no registration is allowed. Limited to 100 participants per day.

Bring Home a Boo-tiful Companion

The magic need not end at the mall. With A Boo-tiful Companion, shoppers can redeem an adorable character night light to add a warm, playful glow to a bedside table or favourite corner at home.

Different designs are available at each mall across two redemption periods, giving shoppers a choice of charming companions as the season unfolds.

Redemption requires a minimum spend of S$120 in up to three same-day, same-mall transactions, with a minimum spend of S$20 per transaction at participating FRx stores. A Dino-mite Encounter at Causeway Point

A familiar face joins the festivities with Close Encounters with Dino. Dressed in Halloween finery, Causeway Point’s mascot will roam the mall on 24 and 25 October, from 12pm to 3pm, bringing cheerful encounters and sweet treats to families along the way.

Dress to Impress at Century Square

Little monsters, magical creatures and imaginative characters take the spotlight at Century Square’s Annual Halloween Best-Dressed Contest on 31 October, from 2pm to 5pm.

With over S$4,000 worth of prizes to be won, children can showcase their costumes in two age categories: 1–7 years old and 8–12 years old.

Registration runs from 25 September to 23 October, with a minimum spend of S$20 in a single transaction at participating stores required to enter. Past years’ winners are excluded from participation.

Pick a Date for a Little Magic
