Journey on to a whimsical escape, where oversized balloon fruits and playful fairies transform Marina Square into an enchanting wonderland
The much-anticipated annual Balloon Festival is back at Marina Square this March school holidays! Marina Square invites visitors to embark on a whimsical escape into an enchanted balloon fantasy, where balloons bloom into fruits, fairies flutter through the air, and imagination takes center stage.
Visitors will step into the “Forest of Wonders”, an immersive balloon experience that brings fantasy to life through larger-than-life balloon artistry. More than just a visual spectacle, the magical balloon installation sparks joy, wonder, and childlike imagination.

Marina Square Central Atrium
A captivating12-metre-tall Strawberry Fairy House stands in the heart of the balloon installation, drawing attention as one enters the enchanting forest. Sculpted to resemble a giant ripe strawberry with textured seeds and a leafy green crown roof, the alluring fairy-tale house stokes curiosity with its white framed windows and a mint green door. Two fanciful fruit fairies perch atop the roof, while a lush forest of blooming flowers and layered greenery surrounds the house. Enter the fairy-tale house and be immersed in a kaleidoscope of magical clouds and an enchanting realm with strawberry-scented mist!
Visitors can explore the surrounding magical fruit lands encircling the Strawberry Fairy House, each with its own unique fruit-themed characters, bringing charm and more irresistible magical photo spots.
Nearby, delicate Grape Fairies in shades of purple and rainbow gradients with translucent wings dance among sparkling grapes in the Grape Fairy Garden, spinning a quiet spell of imagination over the enchanted grove.
The Watermelon Summer Park, an enchanting oasis, stands a round, glossy Watermelon character beaming with rosy cheeks and weaving charms of colors and cool joy over a field of summer dreams.
The Banana Playland brings playful energy to young explorers, with a cluster of smiling banana characters decked in soft yellow tones with cheerful expressions.
Adding a ray of sunshine is the Pineapple Hero, a humanoid pineapple character with balloon-like limbs manifesting vibrant vitality and tropical energy that fuels the magic of the entire fruit kingdom.
Standing tall at 6 metres is the boldest fruit hero–the Durian character. From his larger-than-life personality to his meticulously sculpted thorns, every inch of this spiky titan is designed to dazzle. With his expressive grin and whimsical feature, this colossal King of Fruits invites all into a world where magic is ripe for the taking. Step into his kingdom and let this giant cast a flavorful spell over visitors’ imagination.
Deep within the heart of the woods, the Great Apple Tree stands in a glow of pure enchantment. The fascinating tree, with its alluring fruits, invites one to play, dream, and lose themselves in a world where every leaf glimmers with the promise of a new adventure.
Together, these immersive environments invite visitors to step into a fairytale-like world, where every handcrafted balloon sculpture sparks a new moment of pure joy and evokes a sense of unparallel wonder.
Festival Activities
Beyond the entrancing installations, Marina Square brings magic to life with interactive experiences this school holidays.
Balloon Workshops
14, 15, 21 & 22 March (Sat & Sun), 4pm
Workshop Fee: $20 (1 child + 1 adult)
Limited to 15 teams per session
Families can learn balloon sculpting techniques and create their own magical keepsake together. This engaging one-hour session invites participants to create an adorable balloon sculpture, either a bear or an octopus. Suitable for children aged 4 years and above, each participating team will also receive a door gift comprising a $10 Pororo Park voucher. Registration is available via the Marina Square App (Log in > Tap “Show more” > Tap “Purchases”), with limited slots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
