The Comb materialized when Creative Director Rina Kil and her partners decided to design a hair salon with a comfortable atmosphere and a “straight to the point” solution- solving. Such a name also resonates strongly with Rina when she was given a family heirloom – a Mother-of-pearl comb by a late relative who brought her through childhood in Seoul and told her to “Galida (Comb) your hair and show the world what you’ve got.” Aww what a beautiful story, isn’t it?

The Comb Hair Studio is a Korean Hair Salon with leading Korean hair stylists as well as stylists from Shanghai, Taiwan and Singapore located along Club Street’s Gemmil Lane. It is approximately 3-5 minutes walk from Telok Ayer MRT station. 

I had senior stylist, Henry Yu, to dye my hair to ash greenish brown and trim my hair.

The hair dye was applied in 3 section – mid, ends and roots ensuring that the color is even throughout. I had a relaxing hair and scalp massage during the hair wash. After 3.5 hours, this is the result.
